Terms of use
These terms are designed for a free rugby platform in beta. Please use TryNation fairly and enjoy the rugby.
1. About TryNation
TryNation is an independent rugby platform combining fantasy rugby, fixtures, scores, news links, club information and season predictions. The service is operated by the company registered in England and Wales under company number 17456644. A legal-name update is currently being processed at Companies House.
2. Beta service
TryNation is currently in beta. Features, scoring rules, data sources and availability may change as the service develops. We aim to keep information accurate and available, but live scores, player data, fixtures, statistics and third-party feeds can be delayed, corrected or temporarily unavailable.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for access to the email account used to sign in and for activity carried out through your TryNation account. Please provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person.
4. Fantasy game and predictions
Fantasy points are calculated using the rules shown in the app and available provider-recorded events. Provider corrections may cause scores to be recalculated. TryNation fantasy games and predictions are for entertainment and sporting competition; they are not a gambling service and no cash prize is promised unless a separate promotion expressly says otherwise.
5. Fair use
Do not attempt to interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, exploit security issues, manipulate leagues or scoring, scrape private user information, or use TryNation to harass other people. We may suspend or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform.
6. Third-party content and links
TryNation may link to club ticket pages, publishers and other external services. Those sites are operated by third parties and their own terms and privacy policies apply. Headlines, club names, competition names, trademarks and other third-party rights remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Our content
The TryNation name, original interface, software, scoring presentation and original written material are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not copy or republish substantial parts of it without permission.
8. Availability and liability
We will use reasonable care in operating TryNation, but the service is provided on an evolving beta basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party data errors, external websites, temporary outages or use of TryNation contrary to these terms.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy notice explains how we use personal data. Marketing email is optional and off by default.
10. Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes will be shown here and, where appropriate, brought to users' attention.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
