Who is responsible for your data?

TryNation is the data controller for this service. The service is operated by the company registered in England and Wales under company number 17456644. A legal-name update is currently being processed at Companies House. You can contact us through the TryNation contact page.

What information do we collect?

• Your account email address and login identity.
• Optional profile details such as display name, fantasy-team name, favourite clubs and national team.
• Your fantasy squads, leagues, season predictions, scores and related game activity.
• Feedback or support messages you choose to send us.
• Basic service activity needed to operate and protect the platform, such as last-active information and technical request/security logs processed by our hosting providers.

We do not ask for payment-card details, home addresses, dates of birth or special-category personal data to play TryNation.

Why do we use it?

We use account and game data to provide the TryNation service, keep your selections and scores attached to your account, operate leagues, personalise the app and provide support. We use limited service and security information to keep the platform reliable and prevent misuse.

Where we send marketing or promotional email, we rely on your consent. The marketing-email option is off by default and you can change it in Profile at any time. Essential account, login, security or service messages are not marketing.

No selling your data. No advertising profiles.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not currently use your TryNation account to build third-party advertising profiles.

Who processes information for us?

We use service providers needed to host, authenticate, secure and operate TryNation and to deliver service email. They process information only as needed to provide those services. Rugby data, fixtures, news links and statistics may come from third-party providers, but we do not send them your TryNation profile simply because you use those features.

Local storage and cookies

TryNation uses browser storage for practical features such as appearance preferences and draft convenience. Authentication may use cookies or similar technology required to keep you signed in. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

How long do we keep information?

We keep account and game information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to operate the beta, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Support and contact messages are retained only while they remain useful for support, safety or record-keeping. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your personal data, request portability, and withdraw consent where consent is used. You can change marketing consent directly in Profile. For other requests, use our contact page.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as TryNation develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, brought to users' attention in the app.
